JAMMU: A plantation drive was conducted on the occasion of Block Diwas at Guru Ravi Dass Mandir Thangar of Panchayat Upper Kangri in which Sh. Rajinder Sharma District Development Counsellor Sunderbani Sh Arun Sharma Chairman Block Development Council Sunderbani Smt Rukmash Kumari Sarpanch Upper Kangri along with number of locals of Kangri and Sectoral officers of all line Department participated. The drive was started by Sh. Rajinder Sharma by planting a Raaj Harar plant in the Ravi Dass Mandir premises.
Distinguished guests including Mr. Vinod Baniyal, ADC Sunderbanj, graced the occasion with their presence, underscoring the importance of such initiatives in the region.
The plantation drives not only symbolized a dedication to preserving the environment but also served as a call to action for local residents to participate in building a sustainable future.
