KISHTWAR, JANUARY 29: To promote road safety, the Motor Vehicle Department, spearheaded by ARTO Kishtwar Mohd Saleem Manhas, organized an awareness check for road users on Bhaderkoot-Dangdoro route today.
This initiative conducted on the direction of Chairman DRSC/DC , Dr. Devansh Yadav was a part of the ongoing Road Safety Month campaign 2024.
The event aimed to sensitize approximately 100 road users about traffic norms and road safety measures.
Focusing on critical safety violations such as over speeding, overloading, and the importance of using helmets and seat belts for safe driving, the awareness campaign sought to instill responsible behavior among commuters.
The MVD officials emphasized the significance of adhering to traffic regulations to mitigate accidents and enhance overall road safety. The event unfolded as a collaborative effort to engage the community in fostering a culture of responsible and cautious driving.
