United States: As the auspicious consecration of the Ram temple in Ayodhya neared, a wave of devotion and creativity swept across the United States. In a dazzling display of faith and technology, ardent Ram devotees organized a unique celebration – a Tesla car music show dedicated to Lord Rama.
More than 100 Tesla-owning Ram Bhakts converged at the Sri Bhakta Anjaneya Temple in Maryland, transforming the evening into a symphony of light and sound. Leveraging a special Tesla feature from 2022 that synchronizes headlights and speakers with music, the devotees orchestrated a spellbinding performance. Their Teslas, parked in a precise formation to spell out “RAM”, danced to the rhythm of a popular bhajan, their synchronized headlights shimmering like divine fireflies.
Organized by the Vishwa Hindu Parishad of America (VHPA), the event saw over 200 Tesla owners register, their enthusiasm mirroring the culmination of a 500-year-long struggle for the Ram temple’s construction. VHPA DC chapter president Mahendra Sapa expressed heartfelt gratitude to generations of Hindus who fought tirelessly for this dream.
This wasn’t the only display of devotion. Car rallies celebrating the Ram Mandir took place in 21 cities across the US, from Atlanta and Chicago to Seattle and New York, bringing the festive spirit to every corner of the nation. To further amplify the celebration, the VHPA of the US installed eye-catching billboards in over 10 states, ensuring the Ram Mandir’s opening resonated deeply throughout the country.
The Tesla music show, a remarkable blend of tradition and technology, served as a testament to the unwavering faith and creativity of Ram devotees in the US. It painted a vibrant picture of how religion can seamlessly integrate with modern life, fostering a sense of community and celebrating a momentous occasion with unparalleled enthusiasm.
