NEW DELHI: YouTuber Dhruv Rathee has debunked viral social media claims about his personal life, denying allegations that his wife is Pakistani and that his real name is different.
Rathee, known for videos critiquing government policies, labelled the rumors as “desperate” and criticized those behind them.
Viral posts suggested his wife is Pakistani and his name is Badruddin Rashid Lahori, with false assertions about their residence in Karachi, Pakistan.
Rathee clarified that he and his wife are Indian and German respectively, denouncing the intrusion into his family life.
Dhruv Rathee’s wife is named Juli Lbr Rathee, and she was born in Germany, holding German citizenship. Information from Dhruv Rathee’s wife Juli’s Instagram profile indicates that she was a medical student and has since become a doctor.
