Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, February 24, 2025 — Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif, accompanied by her mother-in-law Veena Kaushal, participated in the ongoing Maha Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj today. The duo took a holy dip at the Triveni Sangam, the sacred confluence of the Ganga, Yamuna, and the mythical Saraswati rivers.
The Maha Kumbh Mela, which commenced on January 13, 2025, is a significant Hindu festival held every 12 years, attracting millions of devotees seeking spiritual cleansing and blessings. This year's event is scheduled to conclude on February 26, coinciding with Maha Shivratri.
Expressing her gratitude, Katrina Kaif stated, "I am very fortunate that I could come here this time. I am really happy and grateful. I met Swami Chidanand Saraswati and took his blessings.
