ADC Doda inspects coaching centres

 

DODA, AUGUST 08: To assess the smooth operation and compliance with norms of coaching centres across Doda town, the Additional Deputy Commissioner Doda, Sudershan Kumar conducted inspection of various coaching centres, here today. The inspections were part of a district-wide initiative led by a committee constituted by the Divisional Commissioner Jammu.

The ADC heading the inspection committee, visited six private tuition and coaching centres. The objective of the inspection was to ensure that these centres are functioning within the prescribed guidelines and maintaining the required standards.

The inspection team included Chief Education Officer, P.L. Thapa, XEN PWD, XEN R&B, Executive Officer Doda, Assistant Director Fire and Emergency Services and other concerned officials. The team collectively reviewed various aspects of the coaching centres, including infrastructure, safety measures and adherence to educational guidelines.

During his visit, the ADC also interacted with the students at these coaching centres. He inquired about their learning experiences, quality of education being provided and any concerns they might have. This interaction provided valuable insights into the effectiveness of the coaching centres from the students’ perspectives.

ADC emphasized the importance of maintaining high educational standards and ensuring the safety and well-being of students. He also directed the coaching centre administrators to strictly follow the norms set by the authorities to provide a conducive learning environment.

The inspection committee will submit a detailed report to the Divisional Commissioner Jammu, highlighting their findings and any necessary actions to be taken. This initiative is part of the broader efforts by the district administration to regulate private educational institutions and ensure quality education in the region.

The coaching centre inspections will continue in the coming days to cover more institutions and to ensure that all are operating in compliance with the established guidelines.
