GCOE Jammu celebrates 78th Independence Day

 JAMMU, AUGUST 16: Cultural Committee of Government College of Education, Canal Road, Jammu, in association with NSS and Nature Club Unit under the aegis of IQAC, celebrated 78th Independence Day with great fervor and gaiety. The event commenced with the hoisting of National Flag by Principal GCOE Dr. Jyoti Parihar.

  Principal, while addressing the gathering, extended warm greetings to all on the auspicious eve. She paid rich tribute to all those who have sacrificed their lives for the cause and emphasized that we all must honour the sacrifices of those who fought for India’s Independence by performing our duties honestly and with dedication.

Dr. Davinder Kour, Convener Cultural Committee, highlighted significance of the day and motivated everyone to become better citizens and to work towards a brighter and more inclusive future.

A Plantation drive was also conducted on the occasion. Prizes were distributed amongst participants and winners of series of activities which took place w.e.f. 1st August to 14th August, 2024. Event concluded with the vote of thanks by Dr. Shubhra Jamwal.
