ANANTNAG, SEPTEMBER 03: Additional District Commissioner (ADC) Anantnag in presence of Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Anantnag today inaugurated Ayushman Bhavah’ campaign at Old Age home Pazalpora and Iklavia school Anantnag to envisage & saturate all identified health care services in every village/ town in line with the commitment of Prime Minister Sh Narendra Modi to ensure access to health care services to everyone in the society.

'Ayushman Bhavah’ initiative involves a set of interventions that include ‘Ayushman - Apke Dwar 3.0’, ‘Ayushman Melas- at Health and Wellness level and Medical Camps by Medical Colleges at CHCs’ and ‘Ayushman Sabhas’ and eventually ensuring Gram Panchayat / Urban ward to attain the status of ‘Ayushman Gram Panchayat’ or ‘Ayushman Urban Ward’ in a saturation mode.

During the campaign health check up was ensured to all registered beneficiaries besides various items including sports kits ,carom board, Medical Kit, winter thermals were distributed.

The Additional district commissioner (ADC) with a firm commitment to success directed all stakeholders to ensure success of Ayushman Bhava Campaign at all levels and ensure awareness regarding all health care schemes to the general public from 1st September to 31st December 2023.


 GANDERBAL, SEPTEMBER 01: On the second consecutive day of celebration of Digital Mela, a large number of people visited the stalls established by various departments in the lawns of Mini Secretariat Ganderbal and applied for online services.

During the mela, various persons were imparted training regarding use of online services, revenue extracts were issued on spot through online mode besides several departments issued sanction letters to the beneficiaries under various schemes.

The resource persons highlighted the e-governance initiatives launched by the government to promote transparency, accountability and responsive working culture in departments.

Meanwhile, Ayushman bhava Nationwide Campaign was kick started by the Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Ganderbal, Mushtaq Ahmad Simnani in presence of Additional Deputy Commissioner Ganderbal, Mehraj-u-din Shah; ACR, Chief Planning Officer and CMO Ganderbal during the Digital Mela.

The ADDC said that the campaign covers a wide range of healthcare services, from maternal and child health to non-communicable disease screening and community engagement. The district administration is committed to ensuring that every individual in Ganderbal has access to quality healthcare services, regardless of their economic background, he added.

Regarding the Digital Week celebration, the ADC said that the event aims at making the public aware of the digital initiatives launched by the government to provide them the best possible relief and enumerated numerous measures taken by the Government to make the services easily accessible to the general public.

Meanwhile, the CEO organized awareness programs regarding different e-services being provided by the Government of J&K in different educational institutions as part of Digital week activities. Different activities in the form of awareness lectures, school level quiz competitions and painting competitions were held in various schools of the district.

 

Dr Sehrish calls for mass awareness to achieve 100% coverage of Health scheme

BARAMULLA, SEPTEMBER 01: To achieve 100 percent saturation in coverage of all health schemes in mission mode and ensure optimum delivery of all health schemes to every intended beneficiary in the district, Ayushman Bhava campaign was today launched across all the sub divisions of Baramulla district.

On the occasion, the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Baramulla, Dr Syed Sehrish Asgar in presence of Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Baramulla, Aijaz Abdullah Saraf and other concerned functionaries of Health Department inaugurated Ayushman Bhava campaign at Panchayat Ghar Delina, here.

It is worth mentioning here that Ayushman Bhava campaign has been launched for conducting the awareness campaign in Schools, Colleges, Health Centers and Anganwadi Centers across the district with an aim to ensure that the benefits of all health schemes of the central and UT government reach the intended beneficiaries.

After inaugurating the campaign, the DC laid special focus on generating awareness with regard to the programme. She informed that during this ambitious programme of four months, initiatives will be taken to ensure that all the government sponsored health benefits are provided to all beneficiaries of the district.

The DC further said that the campaign will also help in making people aware about the importance of utilizing screening services for non- communicable diseases (NCD) and other diseases through health and wellness centers and also about communicable diseases such as elimination of tuberculosis, among others.

These will also be used for routine immunisation, mental healthcare, elderly care services, DC added.

Meanwhile, various health cards including Golden and Abha were distributed among the eligible beneficiaries besides registrations were also carried out for the intending stakeholders.


 Leads Sanitation drive at DH Kulgam

KULGAM, SEPTEMBER 01: Ayushman Bhava campaign was today kick-started in district Kulgam by the Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Kulgam, Showkat Ahmad Rather.

On day one, ADDC led a sanitation drive at District Hospital Kulgam.

CMO, BMO, EO and sanitation workers from Municipalities participated in this sanitation drive along with other officials.

Speaking on occasion, the ADDC said that Ayushman Bhava campaign has been launched to ensure saturation in coverage of healthcare schemes on mission mode, and is an umbrella of various health care initiatives.

He added that the campaign will continue for four months and during the campaign Ayushman Sabhas, Ayushman Melas, Screening camps and other programmes will be conducted across the district.
