Bishnah, June 6, 2024 — Engineer Narinder Paul Mangotra, State Secretary of the BJP Schedule Caste Wing, conducted a tour of various villages in the Bishnah assembly constituency to listen to the problems faced by the public and address their concerns.
During the tour, Engineer Mangotra identified a significant issue affecting the daily lives of the people in Bishnah – frequent load shedding due to electricity shortages. Speaking with media persons after the tour, he expressed his deep concern about the impact of these power outages on the community’s daily routines and overall performance.
Engineer Mangotra expressed his displeasure at the negligence of administrative officers, which has led to severe difficulties for the general public. He highlighted that the electricity department’s officers’ lack of action has exacerbated the situation, especially during the scorching summer heat. Despite the installation of digital meters, which came with big promises from the department, the electricity supply remains inconsistent, causing great distress to the residents.
He urged the Lieutenant Governor’s administration to take immediate and necessary steps to ensure a smooth and proper supply of electricity to the Bishnah area. He also called for strict orders to be given to the department officials to rectify the situation and provide uninterrupted power supply to the people.
“The public is suffering due to irregular power cuts despite the installation of digital meters. It is high time that the administration and the electricity department take concrete steps to resolve this issue and provide relief to the residents of Bishnah,” Engineer Mangotra stated.
