MUMBAI: The Mumbai police have registered a First Information Report (FIR) after two motorbike-borne unidentified persons opened gun fire on Salman Khan’s house in the city’s Bandra area early Sunday morning. An official confirmed that the incident took place and that the police have recovered a two-wheeler, suspected to have been used by the duo, a little over a kilometre from the actor’s home.

The Bandra police official stated that an FIR has been filed against the “unidentified person” under section 307 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), which pertains to attempt to murder, as well as the Arms Act. The authorities are currently investigating the matter and trying to identify the individuals involved in the gun fire on Salman Khan’s house.

Salman Khan, one of the most popular actors in Bollywood, was reportedly not present at his residence during the time of the attack. The motive behind the shooting is still unclear, and the police are working to gather more information and leads to apprehend the culprits responsible for the attempted crime.
