Punjab/Haryana: In a dramatic escalation of tensions, protesting farmers engaged in violent clashes with security forces along the Punjab-Haryana border. At the Shambhu border crossing, video footage circulated showing farmers dismantling safety barriers on a flyover and hurling them to the ground.

Police deployed water cannons in an attempt to disperse the demonstrators. However, farmers remained defiant, standing their ground in the face of forceful measures.

The unrest continued in Kurukshetra, Haryana, where protesting farmers were seen forcibly removing cement barricades using tractors. Videos of this incident highlight the growing anger and determination of the farmers’ movement.
