Commissioner Secretary assessed the readiness of JKCDF processing unit and gave necessary instructions for early launch of milk and milk products in the market. She stressed upon the importance of establishing more cooperatives as members of the federation. She encouraged exploration of additional marketing avenues for dairy cooperatives in this milk surplus Union Territory.
Later, she also inspected the Vijaypur Fruits Agro and Vegetables Producers Cooperative Limited (FPO) and took stock of cultivation and marketing of "Dragon fruits."
