PULWAMA, DECEMBER 25: The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY) is continuing making remarkable progress in Pulwama District, gracefully navigating the urban landscapes. 

With its primary focus on saturating Government schemes and enhancing public awareness, the Yatra has gained momentum, ensuring widespread benefits.

A pivotal moment occurred as the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra reached the Municipal Committee Tral. The community’s active participation turned the event into a joyous celebration, with Government departments taking the lead in elucidating their schemes and guiding citizens on how to leverage these opportunities.

The impactful message from the Hon’ble Prime Minister resonated deeply, capturing the audience’s attention and instilling a sense of commitment towards progress. The Sankalp pledge became a poignant declaration, with individuals expressing their dedication to the ideals upheld by the Sankalp Yatra.

Under the “Meri Kahani Meri Zubani” segment, beneficiaries shared compelling stories of how they have personally benefited from Government schemes.

Beyond informative sessions, the event offered essential services, ensuring immediate benefits for attendees. Cultural events infused vibrancy, reflecting the dynamic spirit of the Viksit Bharat Yatra. 

Recognition extended not only to Government schemes but also to achievers, notably women, who were honored for their outstanding contributions.

The event witnessed the participation of ADDC Pulwama, Dr. Sheikh Abdul Aziz; ADC Tral and other District and Sectoral officers.

JAMMU, DECEMBER 24: As part of the ongoing Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, the Special IEC Van today made its impactful presence felt at Panchayat Pounthal in block Dansal.

Member of Parliament, Jugal Kishore Sharma graced the occasion, emphasising the significance of this nationwide initiative.

The entire event was orchestrated with precision, where stakeholder departments showcased respective schemes through stalls, pamphlets, posters and exhibitions well coordinated by BDO Dansal Joni Kumar.   Tehsil Social Welfare Officer Manjeet Singh was also present.  The students of Government Middle School Pounthal added a cultural flair to the proceedings, participating in debate activities and skits centred around the theme of National Integration.

The VBSY Van, upon arrival, was welcomed with flower petals, setting the stage for the display of the PM’s message and the achievements under different government schemes in Pounthal.

In a similar event, the VBSY Van reached panchayat Dager in block Kharah Balli, receiving a warm welcome from the Swagat Committee and PRI representatives. Other prominent citizens also graced the occasion, aligning with the Yatra’s spirit.

The van projected PM Modi’s video message, inspiring the audience to pledge their commitment to the progress and prosperity of the nation. A compelling Nukkad Natak against drug abuse captivated the crowd, followed by cultural performances by students. A health camp provided free screenings for NCD, accompanied by the distribution of prizes, T-shirts and caps.

Line department representatives actively engaged with the public, explaining government schemes and distributing informative material. The public availed free health care services under the Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana, sharing their success stories through ‘Mari Kahaani Meri Zubaani’.

These events, including one at panchayat Meshian in block Miran Sahib and MC Khour as well, seamlessly integrated into the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, amplifying its impact and spreading awareness about government initiatives.

Rajeev Wadhawan emphasizes importance of collective efforts in fostering holistic development

REASI, DECEMBER 23: Captivating drone demonstration, showcasing technological advancements aimed at enhancing various facets of rural life today remained one of the most alluring highlights of ambitious “Viksit Bharat Sankalp yatra” at Sirla panchayat of Reasi district.

The panchayat was visited by Advisor to Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW), Rajeev Wadhawan, as part of ongoing VBSY.

During his visit, Advisor Rajeev Wadhawan engaged extensively with various stakeholders, witnessing collaborative efforts of key departments such as Agriculture, Horticulture, Health, Animal Husbandry, Handloom, and Handicraft. These departments showcased their respective schemes through informative stalls, presenting a collective front aimed at amplifying awareness and access to essential programs.

Addressing the gathering, Advisor Rajeev Wadhawan emphasized the significance of such initiatives in driving progress and empowerment at the grassroots level. He reiterated government’s commitment towards supporting and amplifying these initiatives for betterment of communities across the nation.

The event was a vibrant amalgamation of informative exhibitions, featuring stalls that highlighted the diverse initiatives undertaken by different sectors. Additionally, the cultural program organized by educational institutions added a vibrant touch to the event.

SAMBA, DECEMBER 21: Lieutenant Governor Shri Manoj Sinha joined the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra at Mahal Shah Panchayat, Samba, today.

He also laid the foundation stone for 50-bedded Ayush integrated hospital at Ghagwal. The Hospital will provide Ayurveda, Unani and Homeopathic healthcare facilities to the people.

Addressing a public gathering, the Lt Governor said the enthusiasm of all sections of society towards Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra is also a symbol of Aspirational Jammu Kashmir which has complete faith in responsiveness of the government to mitigate all the challenges.

“Common man is in the forefront of the collective effort, targeting 100% saturation in every flagship scheme and charting new pathways for Viksit Bharat. I believe Participatory governance can reduce disparities and change the fate of every village and locality, the Lt Governor said.

The Lt Governor shared the efforts of UT Administration to promote inclusive development and to remove developmental imbalances in Jammu Kashmir.

In the last four years, collective efforts of Administration, elected representatives and the people have enabled better education facilities, better health facilities, cleanliness in villages, better road and communication connectivity in rural areas to realize economic development and bridge the rural-urban gap, he said.

Under the leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, we are committed to safeguard the rights of weaker section of society and ensure that the benefits of the development reach every household, the Lt Governor said.

“100% saturation of all schemes, fulfilment of basic needs of every family, improved standard of living of all citizens will enhance the inherent potential of the society, productivity and propel employment generation and prosperity,” he said.

The Lt Governor impressed upon the PRI members, political leaders, youth and officials of district administration to discharge their responsibility towards the society and ensure that no beneficiary is left behind.

On the occasion, the beneficiaries of flagship schemes shared their experience.

The Lt Governor visited the stalls put up by government departments, and handed over sanction letters to beneficiaries under various schemes. He felicitated the women achievers, and PRI members for their contribution to Swachh Bharat Abhiyan and Jal Jeevan Mission.‘Hamara Sankalp Viksit Bharat’ pledge was also administered to the people.

JAMMU, DECEMBER 17: The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, a public outreach campaign to promote the government initiatives and public welfare programs of the central government today reached W.No.5 in Municipal Committee Khour.

The yatra van was welcomed by the local residents and the message of Prime Minister Narendra Modi along with the information of various schemes implemented in the town were screened on a huge LED mounted on the IEC Van.

The yatra was organised under the guidance of Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Anil Kumar Thakur.

The officials from different departments had set up stalls to share the information about flagship schemes by distributing pamphlets, posters and exhibits. The people appreciated the district administration for reaching out and organising such a beneficial and informative program at their doorsteps.

The sectoral officers present on the occasion also spoke and spread awareness among the general public regarding various schemes launched by the government of India such as Health, PMAY(U), Social Welfare, KCC, Ayushman Bharat Yojana Card, Har Ghar Jal Jeevan Mission, Jan Dhan Yojana, Umeed(Nrlm), PM Vishwakarma, ICDS(Social Welfare), T.S.O, Horticulture, Floriculture, Animal Husbandry, Education, Cooperative Department and UJJWALA Yojana.

On-spot registration under PM Vishwakarma and other online services were also provided to the people. Ex-president MC Khour, eminent members of society among and sectoral officers remained present during the program.

The Block Development Officer Dansal, Joni Kumar, Principal of Government Higher Secondary School Jhajjar Kotli, Iftikar Hussain Wani, Zonal Incharge of Cultural Cell, M.K. Bhat, Sarpanch Jhajjar Kotli, Nisha Devi and former Panchayat members also participated in the event.

The Yatra aimed to highlight the importance of various schemes and initiatives launched by the Central Government for the welfare and development of the people. The departmental heads from different sectors installed stalls and displayed exhibitions to disseminate information about the schemes. They also distributed pamphlets and posters to the public.

The students of Government Higher Secondary School Jhajjar Kotli presented cultural programmes, including debates and skits, on the theme of national integration.
